  • The Most Complex Reinforced Concrete Basemat Ever Made?

    To say that the world’s biggest nuclear fusion reactor requires strong foundations is an understatement. Amongst the hills of Cadarache, near Marseille in the South of France, civil engineers have completed the monumental task of pouring 14,000 cubic metres of concrete to make a base slab for that exact purpose.
