The Road to Recovery

If the global pandemic has taught the construction industry anything, it's that we can't afford to be complacent, and that the ability to adapt and innovate is perhaps the best protection we have. So in addition to the advances we already had planned for 2020 and beyond, the teams at CCL, in response to COVID-19, have implemented new ways of working so we can support you better than ever in the coming months and years.

Firstly, let's review what we've done in direct response to the pandemic. Just like our many clients and industry counterparts around the world, CCL has developed new ways of working at breakneck speed over recent months. We are operating a working from home policy where appropriate and our colleagues are well resourced with the technology to allow them to ensure continuity of service. Our engineers have access to everything they need to support clients and help keep projects moving.

Our manufacturing bases have continued to operate under very strict health and safety guidance with policies of staggered shifts, social distancing, regular sanitisation and a ban on non-essential visitors. This is helping us to maintain continuity of supply to sites and other group companies.

CCL site operatives adhere strictly to the relevant national and local guidelines. Fortunately, post-tensioning as a construction technique naturally lends itself towards social distancing. We also continue to study developments closely and follow recommendations issued by governments and national and local health authorities, and would like to reassure clients that despite these extraordinary circumstances, we can provide you with the same quality of service for which CCL is known.

In addition to the measures we have taken to deal with the challenges posed by COVID-19, the forced hiatus has also caused us to think carefully about how the construction industry might look once the dust has settled.

As part of our roadmap to recovery, the team at CCL continues to innovate to offer more efficient and streamlined construction operations. We're also collaborating with strategic partners in order to offer more choice and help our clients build better performing buildings and infrastructure.

We plan to emerge from this pandemic as a smarter, even more efficient business. And we aim to help our clients and partners do the same. We don't just want to help you get back to where you were before, but to help you emerge from this crisis even stronger. Stay tuned for further updates.
